Ocean City Police Department Press Release

Two Delaware Men Arrested by OCPD Narcotics Detectives
For Distribution of Cocaine and Oxycodone.


The Ocean City Police Department Narcotics Unit has concluded a five month Controlled Dangerous Substance Distribution investigation with the arrest of Garrison Thomas Duncan Jr., 25, of Frankford, Delaware.

Duncan was charged with three separate counts of Distribution of CDS after selling powder cocaine and oxycodone pills to an undercover detective starting in August of 2008. During the investigation, OCPD detectives learned Duncan had two outstanding warrants for his arrest through the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office for unrelated CDS charges.

As a result of the investigation, OCPD narcotics detectives seized powder cocaine, oxycodone pills, seized a vehicle, and seized $579.00 U.S. Currency. Additionally, Kaaron Mumford, 30, of Frankford, Delaware was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute CDS/Possession of CDS in relation to this investigation.

Both Duncan and Mumford were seen by an Ocean City District Court Commissioner. Mumford was released from custody after posting a $7500 bond. Duncan was released on his own recognizance, in reference to the Ocean City Police charges, however, was held because of the two outstanding Arrest Warrants from Worcester County Sheriffs Department. Mumford was transferred to the Worcester County Jail.

Wrong!! Duncan's bond for the Drug charges is $50,000!!! The bonds for the warrants are $5000 and $1000. Check MD Judiciary Case Search!!
