The 4 remaining members of the Grateful Dead-known now as the Dead-will be touring this spring. April 14 in DC and May 1/2 in Philly. I know this kid will be at 2 or 3 shows! What a great New Years Day announcement if you ask me. www.dead.net

Glad I could bring some smiles!

I am not at liberty to take off the mute and watch the video post right now, but the mere suggestion of Wymzie possibly ringing in 2009with parliament funkadelic and GD common ground articles is kind of freaking me out a little bit here-are we really turning things around here so so early in the year? For the record, there is nothing better than homemade grilled havarti cheese sandwiches on a coleman stove when you have the munchies after a show.

Thanks wimzie, this not just a great tune but offers hope for us that have not had a drink of the kool-aid.

I had to play it twice !

A touch of gray kind of suits me anyway. Saw my first show at long been history Philadelphia Civic Center 8/5/1974. Been there done that about 40 times, The Music Never Stopped. I was also born on Jerry's 15th birthday 8/1, now I'm giving away my age : )

Thanks Wymzie, I'm a DeadHead for life with a steal your face skull tattoo with a howling wolf in the head instead of the lightning bolt and some Indian beaded feathers. Designed it myself, I think it was during one of my midlife crisis things LoL

Relax Reese, I just know you and I could be good friends.
I was the singer for the kids new rock band game this Christmas.
They loved it, because they couldn't believe I knew all the words to nearly every song on their including Social Distortion!

Social Distortion, HA,HA, How cool is this lady.

Wymzie. Do the kids a favor-purchase a priced acoustic guitar or two (catalog dealers such as American Music Supply)and teach the kids how to grind out a few chord changes. "Ripple" is very easy to play-and it keeps the kids off that poison on the streets that is just killing that generation (BTW..No...it isn't necessarily drugs-it is Simon Cowell and American Idol). Rock on.

Wow! Did this bring back some wonderful memories! Many years ago, when the Wicomico river was clean, some wonderful friends of mine taught my daughter to water ski. The Doctors had said that she may never be able to skate, jump rope or do a lot of normal things a child does because of surgery on her leg. They had a beautiful ski boat that was red and trimmed out with grey. The name of the boat? Touch of Grey of course! I often joke that the Greatful Dead played a major part in her life.
