Homeless Shelter News.....

Dear Allen Family:

Patti Adkins has graciously volunteered to be the coordinator for this year's Homeless Shelter week here at Allen Memorial. Please see her message below and contact her directly via e-mail if you have any questions or want to volunteer in any way:

We need help!! Anyone willing to help with our Homeless Shelter February 7-13, 2009, please email duncansbossette@aol.com We need a variety of assistance: preparation of food, leading activities for the men, donations of toiletries, muscle strength to load and unload cots, snacks, packing lunches, DVDs that are appropriate, towels.... Also, if you have a special talent such as offering a service to cut the men's hair, assisting with resume writing, sewing, crafts...please let me know. We want to provide the men a nice stay with the AMBC family. If we all pitch in, we can get this accomplished with ease.
