Who Tried It Last Night?

'To stop night time coughing in a child (or adult as we found out personally), put Vicks Vaporub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime, then cover with socks. Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. '

DID ANYONE TRY IT LAST NIGHT? DID IT WORK?

I told my mom about this who has been suffering with night time coughing for weeks now. She did try it and she had the best night's sleep in days. No more nyquil for her!!! Thanks for the tip :)

I tried it with my 7 year old and she woke up once about 11:30, coughed off and on for about 1/2 hour then went back to sleep. It didn't stop it completely but maybe it would have been worse if I hadn't had done it?

I didn't try the Vicks because I didn't have any so I put Happy Feet foot cream on because it kind of smells like it so I put that on and sure enough, no coughing for me last night. Now I have soft feet and a good nights sleep.

To be quite candid, I "tried to try." But I used my own suggestion first and subsequently became too relaxed to apply the Vicks and socks. I must admit I coughed less and slept better, but awoke to a slight hangover. I still have a couple limes and the Vicks left, so I will provide continuing updates.

I had my wife try it two days ago. She woke up at 3am coughing. She did not reapply as she gets up at 5am to get ready for work. However, she slept through the night last night with no coughing.
