Last Eastern Shore Drive In Theater Closes For Good

This can't be. Will anyone be taking over the Drive In? What will become of
the land? This has been a staple in the Eastern Shore Community for over 14yrs.
The last, that I know of, Drive - In Theater that exists. Does anyone care??

GO HERE to see their Website.

My family cares. This was one of the greatest family experiences. We went the past few summers. Truly sad. The owners of the theater were great. We saw Cars, all of the Pirates movies, Iron Man, Shrek. It was a great place. The kids played with the other children in the field before the movie. Playing catch with the kids before the movies...the memories. Sad. I guess they will but another hardware store there--just what everyone needs.

The site said they are opening a new location in Wallops in 2009 or 2010! All is not lost!

The drive in is where I saw my first pair of Monsters...and they were sitting right next to me!

I read the people who owned and ran this one are the new owners of the Dream skate rink and drive-in theater on the road from T's Corner to Chincoteague Island, but just a couple of miles off of 13.
For folks from sby, it's about the same distance as Felton, so, See You There?

WOW

I am glad they are the people who bought the Dream Drive IN and Roller Rink.

I wondered why the Dream was not showing regular movies at the Drive In anymore.

Wattsville is a heck of a lot closer to Pocomoke than Felton so you can be sure we will be there when it opens!

Yes, they bought the drive in but not the skating rink. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing movies at the drive in and sharing that with my kids.
