Keys To Gate #5

I was told recently that Mayoral Candidate Gary Comegys allegedly has a key to Gate 5 at Parson's Cemetery. If you're wondering why this might be a concern, there's a reason why. Apparently Gary's community doesn't allow Boats to be stored on their property. While I am having issues loading pictures, I have seen a Boat obviously brought in through the Cemetery.

I wonder if the rest of his neighbors have a key to that gate as well?

Joe:

Does Bubba store his boat or anything else on the cemetery? If so, there may be a zoning code violation, but not sure if that's so if he is just using it as access to his lot. Details PLEASE.

Did the Parsons board of directors give him approval for any personal use of the cemetery property?

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by the fact that Gary doesn't follow rules. There isn't enough room here to talk about all the different ways he takes advantage of any given situation.
I hope that the person who manages the cemetery gets in trouble for giving him "permission" to violate THEIR rules, instead of just those of his neighborhood.
His (live) neighbors must be so proud.

Issues loading pictures? Hah! It happened! Obama took your camera away and is giving it to me!

Just kidding, Joe. I hope you get your problems with the computer solved so you can keep posting pictures. I don't go a day without coming here to your blog. (I'm sure a lot of your readers wish I didn't.)

Who the heck would want this Comegys dude as Mayor? Nooooooooo way.

Isn't the Parsons Cemetery owned/operated by a church--St. Peter's? If so, who would have given authority for Comegys to have a key?

Gary is just like Gordy. He will do whatever it takes to get his way. Break whatever rules or obstacles to accomplish his mission. This is just the kind of guy I want to run Salisbury. RIGHT !

If I had family in that cemetery I would be furious about people parking cars and boats in there. What a disrespectful act towards the families.

Bubba (R. Necks Mare) Comegys sez:

"It's better than parking in those handicapped spaces, right?"

Will some one get Joe a key please. Maybe he wouldnt feel so left out.

I am a neighbor or Gary and while I do believe he brings his boat in through the cemetery (which I don't believe is aloud), it is parked on his lawn in his backyard, which is not cemetery grounds. I'm not positive of where the cut off is for the property lines, as I live on the other side of the street. If you want to find out, there is an office in the cemetery now on the south side. I'm sure they would know.

Thank you anonymous 2:08.

However, I have seen the boat with my own eyes and the hitch is facing te cemetery, therefore it had to be brought in that way or the vehicle towing it used access to the cemetery. That being said, can YOU park a boat on your property in that neighborhod? I have been told you cannot. You're welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, we are aloud to park boats. We don't have any restrictions as far as that goes. My neighbor has a boat and has it parked on his property during the summer when he pulls it out of the water.

Thank You. Not that I don't totaly believe you, no one knows if you're truly a neighbor because you're anonymous. However, I can certainly understand your doing so because of the retaliation the Tilghman Administration has done to others in the past. I will look into this some more.

The grass part of the cemetary belongs to Gary. The previous manager of the cemetary authorized Gary's use of the cemetary. Several of the residents in Sumpter Point lock that gate for the church and they are happy Gary is there to keep an eye on the cemetary. There has been alot of damage done to stones back there.
Waste some more of your time!
