Another Candidate Steps Into The Ring For District 1
It has been reported that a Citizen from the Vine Street area has signed up to run for City Council against Shanie Shields. I know of one other person that is seriously considering running in that District as well. Looks, (to me anyway) that Shanie Shields will be toast and some new blood will be representing the Citizens in the very near future. I'm sure you'll be reading more about it in the Daily Times tomorrow.

I was in Walmart in Salisbury today & when I walked in there was two men being chased by Lost Prevention (LP's)
One had a bucket of chicken from the deli. Well the guy with the bucket dropped it & his hat plus his cell phone. The other guy was stopped but would not give the mans name. Now all they have to do is call the guy on his phone to find out were he lives.
Shanie Shields lacks the professionalism needed to represent any district. Time for a change !!
Unless its someone on work release they've GOT TO BE BETTER THAN SHANIE.
We hope for the best, but must plan for the worst when sby is concerned.

Good. I for one would rather vote for the mysterious double agent instead of Miss "I live in Princess Anne now" Shields. It's Louweasel all over again!
Has anybody determined Shanie's new address and checked on her vehicle at night? I don't see her in my district anymore...

Shanie can't run for re-election because she's no longer a resident of the City of Salisbury.
I don't know where you people are getting your information but you're flat out wrong. Shanie Shields does live in her district and quite frannkly, while I believe she absolutely needs to be replaced, there's no reason to spread these rumors and lies because they're just not true.
Now, if any of you want to MAN UP and use your real name and then make that statement, so be it. However, it's not right to just lie like that. Let the election process be FAIR and STOP acting like Mayor Barrie Tilghman vs. Tim Spies!!!!!
Right no need to beat up shanie, her voting record and taking money from special interest during her last campaign is her legecy.
She's had a hard time and I at least repsect her for running again, who else would want to deal with that mess? this town is shit broke
