Very nice website. And NO I don't see Barrie all over the place, I see elected officials, as well as others. Untill we replace her on election day, she is the Mayor of this city, and she will appear in photo pertaining this city.
BPT & GSC have been joined at the hip for years; isn't her spouse still one of the "leaders"?
The "North Prong" scam is a product of their alliance. She and Comegys (the GSC's pick for next mayor) are doing the GSC's bidding. That "consultant" was selected by the GSC to make a recommendation to spend huge sums of City money there. If Comegys is elected, it will probably happen.
I find it hard to have credibility with an opening statement from Andes (Worcester County) who is the biggest a$$hole with his napoleon complex. Just sit near the little man in a meeting and find out for yourself. At least he's in good company with the other folks.

This site looks a lot better than the new fire department web site.
The Greater Salisbury Committee runs basically everything in Salisbury and Wicomico County.
Look at who is on the committee. You will see the same names on other committees too. United Way, Habitat for Humanity, etc.
These are a bunch of well-doers (financially) who have a great stake in what happens locally.
To be active in the community with most of the organizations, you have to be buddy-buddy with these people or they will shut you out totally. They don't want you unless you have major CASH to bring to the table.
The GSC will get the person elected they want too because that's how it works around here.
I was once a volunteer with one of the local organizations and these people pushed out the good people in charge for no reason other than power. The day those people left, who were really starting to get the organization going again on a positive note, I also left. Since then, the organization has done basically nothing to achieve their "mission"...but the powers that took over DID achieve their mission...they gained even more power!
Sickening really!

Did anyone notice that the Wicomico County part had tons of info about population, the work force, taxes........etc. It listed the word "crime" on the first page, but there was no way to open that topic...heeheehee! I wonder why?
