They, (the City) are destroying meeting tapes and much, much more. Brenda Colegrove
is quoted in the paper this morning and the claim for meetings is that minutes will take the place of the tapes. The minutes don't provide a clue about how we arrived at a decision.
This will serve those like Gary Comegys who make false claims about why someone voted
one way or another very well to have all of the actual "right from their mouths" records destroyed. Not to mention records that could be needed in litigation in the future.
Are the Citizens going to rise up and challenge this, or are they going to sit back and allow this to happen. It's not my job, it's yours.

Maybe Pac 14 will have a record of the tapes.
The Cigty has a record retention policy. A copy needs to be obtained to see if they are following their own policy.
It is not your job? You have made everything your business and it's not your job?
Certainly any records that would be tied to enforcement, violations, and potential legal actions should be saved.
