Question of the Day, Fri 9/19

Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

Are you a member of the armed forces? Have you or someone you know ever been POW/MIA? What's your story?

My father was a POW in Korea for 2 1/2 years. He survived torture and starvation that is hard to believe these days. I still have several documents, including a declassified debriefing that was conducted when he was released, including interviews with several other POW's. Very amazing stuff.

Hey here is a question of the day. What is the school Board doing now? What is this Student Advisory letter I got? About everyone meeting and doing something. Heard anything on this?

My uncle was a POW in WW2 and Korea he was lucky enough to escape with his life. After all of the torture and torment during the wars he continued to serve in the US Army until retirement after 38 years of service. He retired a very proud Master Sergeant.
