Under Palin's former jobs, the author forgot to menion "beauty queen runner-up," and "sportscaster."
Listen right-wing, you can admit that she seems like a very green, not-vetted, last-minute choice that seems terribly unprepared to be one heartbeat away from the presidency. It is OK to have some doubts about Johnny Mac's choice here.

Okay, next let's compare apples and oranges, why don't we?
This comparison between a Presidential candidate and the opposing party's Vice Presidential candidate is meaningless, and a lot of the info was irrelevant, having no connection to anyone's ability to lead.
And we don't elect a candidate's spouse, people.

Credibility was lost with "Smoking hot in a “naughty librarian” sort of way".
There are a million that go either direction.
How bout:

- In 2007, quoted as saying she didn't have any interest in what happens in Iraq
I think that it is very funny that we are comparing a VP to an opposing Presidential candidate and the argument of 'who is more qualified' is being raised. Something isn’t kosher here.
Although, it was impressive that she was able to mention "September 11th" TWICE in her introductory speech, AND was able to tie it into the "We are more patriotic than you" vibe of the GOP.
Beau Biden: is going to Iraq, but does not mention it specifically in his address at the DNC. Just says, "I will not be here."
Sarah Palin: "My son enlisted on september 11th of last year, and is shipping out on September 11th of this year."
At least the GOP does not politicize events like that for thier own gain.
Looks like McCain is throwing Palin over the fence and is now considering other choices. Better sooner than later.
Maybe he will pick someone with some experience...

What kind of lame comparison is that? Beau Biden is attorney General of Delaware and is going as a politician who wants to be senator in a couple of years.
Palin's son is going as a 20 year old soldier.

Salary went to $300,000 for a new job saving money and community outreach. Major accomplishment getting patients, that did not have insurance, to go to other hospitals. She did so so well that the hospital now gets more tax savings for treating the poor than they "spend" treating them.
Her husband admitted it was "boneheaded" to grant the million saying he should have gotten Durbin to do it in exchange for an Obama earmark.
To be fair to Obama.
He is the best orator ever to run for President (with a teleprompter).

Votes for present is the same as voting no in Illinois. Very rarely a political maneuver that may allow further consideration.

Stronger for the DNC view of the environment. Likes gas being $5.00 per gallon but it should get there slowly not too fast. Would have no problem with gas at $10.00 / gallon (better than drilling off shore).

The bill that gave her place of employment millions, was one of the very few upon which he actually cast a vote.
His defenders would say that voting "present" is the same as voting a "no". NOT true. It represents those on the fence.
Her salary went from a "modest" 90 K to over 300 K for her job as an ASSISTANT. (in "communications" or "relations", I believe... something like that.

You forgot his senatorial experience. He's been on the campaign trail for over TWO years, and has not held one subcommittee meeting (which he chairs), nor has he attended any other meetings.
He has voted "present" about 100 times, out of his actual 143 working days since he was elected.
Experience?
I think not.
Experience notwithstanding, the winning candidate will only be as good as the ones with whom they surround themselves.
No one is POTUS on their own. There IS a learning curve; for example, they soon learn how to respond to certain questions. Advisors abound and all are chosen for their area of expertise.
That applies to the VP as well. Its good that Palin is young & bright. So is Mr. Obama. Both are energetic.
Oh yeah, this is apples & oranges if you ask me.
