If he showed up at a Zoo meeting it's a first in a long time, thats for sure.

Strange - The same people were at both meetings - Was the report gospel or gossip?
When I die I want to come back as a Maryland State Highway employee. Where else can you work a half a day and get paid for a full day, have supplied a vehicle w/gas, have your salary indexed to inflation, a pension, holidays off, family leave time, vacation pay, paid personal days, and medical insurance.
I am self employed, pay my own insurance, have no pension, no paid holidays, no family leave, I pay for my own vehicle and gas, no salary indexed to inflation, and no paid vacation.
I have never understood why in the world I should have to pay for the benefits of state/county/federal workers when I personally have no benefits for myself. And trust me, just because you are self employed doesn't mean you are making alot of money. It's tough out here in the real world. The few people left in the free-market are paying for everything. Many of us are doing without while government workers sit back and take, take, take.
I see most government employees as users and losers. They are sitting in the cat bird seat, and they know it, and I bet they sit back and laugh at all of us who are too dumb to see what they are up to.
I might sound bitter, but this stuff will make you that way. Oh, by the way, it's gonna get a whole lot worse because government is growing at an exponential rate and businesses are dying off at an exponential rate. We are on the right hand side of the law of diminishing returns. It's gonna get much worse because there is hardly anyone left to tax to feed the machine--look around, businesses everywhere (the tax base) are going out of business. Haven't you noticed all of the 'available' signs around town. Everytime a free market business closes the tax base gets smaller which means they have to reach deeper into everyones pockets to get enough to pay for the aforementioned benefits. It's a hot mess.

Yes, that's the chair of P&Z next to Bubba. And the guy next to Bubba is a P&Z commissioner, too, I think.
So, what was up today that had that commission's interest?
Shoot man I think we all need a job like Bubbas got. He is on more boards and commissions he aint got no time do any real work maybe dats why he gots dumblap desease
