The work continues today on the front of the Downtown Library. One of the employees for East Coast Tile told me that they are getting so many women thanking them for getting this done because their heals kept getting caught in the gaps. I'm told they're also working on some background tile and they're hoping to also get the contract for repairs in the bathrooms in the building.

Yeh, Joe, its been about 28 years since that tile was first laid, so it sure is time for repair work on the tiles. I was the director of the library who watched as the addition was built onto the old Armory back in 1978/79.
