let me quess joe, the goverment says we only lost 51,000 jobs this month, and they say its great news, well hell we should all be jumping up and down then.
My husband called to say that Flight 4646 from Charlotte to Salisbury was going to take off until the pilot noticed the plane did not have enough gas to make it here so they had to turn around and wait for gas to be delivered. What's up with that? Thank goodness the pilot noticed the "empty tank!" Maybe US Airways quality should be investigated! Has anyone else experienced this or another problem with US Air?
Well I can tell you one about USAir at least as good. About 4 years ago, a 6:00 a.m. flight was supposed to take off for Philly and the pilot took off from Salisbury planning on the fog lifting and was given clearance to fly to Philly. To make a long story short, the pilot had to turn around, they said because the pilot could not land in the fog. Then the plane came back to Salisbury where the fog had come in and he had to circle around the airport for a time and then landed. Some of the passengers were put on our flight and told us about it. They were very upset. Apparently, the pilot was not cleared to fly in foggy conditions. Who knows, but it made a good story.
