Possible Murder with hold up in house or car..... Highway shut down in both directions. TRAPPE, Md. - Police say both lanes of Route 50 are closed from Cambridge to Easton. Maryland State Police say traffic is being detoured eastbound at Route 50 and Route 331 toward Preston. Westbound traffic is being detoured at Route 50 and Barber Road. Police at this time have no idea how long Route 50 will remain closed between Cambridge Maryland State Police are investigating.

This is the most common type of homicide in America.
The guy should save everyone a lot of trouble and finish the other half of the job.
story i heard was a ufo landed and they are trying to keep it as quiet as possible by cleaning it up. think about it, why would they shut the WHOLE ROAD down for someone shooting his wife?
Because he is barrcaded(sp?) in his house which is right on RT 50..thats the reason straight from a trooper.
This just in: The guy shot himself dead.
If the guy started shooting and the rounds were crossing the highway, closing one lane would not keep the rounds from hitting cars in the other lane. The rule of thumb is to evac the houses surrounding the house in which the suspect is barricaded, and block off all traffic. Establish a perimeter, set up a command post, bring in the negotiator and a tactical unit.
Cops can tell you that.
