I said it in the past Ladies & Gentlemen and I'll repeat it over and over again. This Administration will do everything they can to take back the West Side of Salisbury, at any expense. That is where the QUIET growth is going to happen, hence the Police Station and new Fire Station. It makes sense. It's the least expensive land in the City and they're going to drive the Black Community out of the West Side and out of the City Limits. Shanie's even moving, like it or not!

Joe they have been wanting to do this before Tilghman. You have to get rid of that PERDUE plant before that will EVER happen. No one will want to live next to that eye sore and smell, or the crappy water in the river thanks to Salisbury treatment plant.
Richard Insley or one of the other slum lords will take care of "SHANNIE".
I think that is a good thing. I suppose it is white people's fault that area is overrun with drugs, crime and gangs. Good riddance, I say. I'd like to see Pemberton Manor burn to the ground, personally.

There are a lot of good looking older homes in a lot of very nice developments on the West Side. Most of these homes are owner owned by the older generation blacks. They respect their neighborhoods,maintain their properties and cause no problems.Yet they cannot leave their front door's any door open open at anytime. Lake Street,Westover Hills,Jersey Road,Booth Street gangs etc., will keep these areas down and never allow them to feel safe.They have no voice at all at the city level.

She can afford to drink and play slots at the VFW because she just got a 100% pay increase on the city council. That $10 grand a year is a nice piece of change for doing nothing. Uh huh, das right, dat's what ahhmm talkin bout. Amen to dat.
Well who in their right mind would buy one of the condos over there to overlook brew river where an assload of noise comes from and the lovely delaware ave. projects. If you are going to improve a neighborhood, then first you have to demolish the shitty sections and move the shit out of the city. Bulldoze delaware ave and church street and while you are at it the west side, booth and west, etc. and then start from scratch. Move all the trash out of the city and then build upper scale establishments and housing. No, not everyone who lives there is a criminal, just 85% of them.
I think a good show of faith to improve the community would be for the police chief to move to delaware ave. or church street and buy a house. OR at least live in the city he is police chief of. OH Thats right, theres a slight security problem in those areas and they are really, really shitty. Air strike, bull doze, and pave over. Instant metropolous.
