Yesterday, Governor Bob Ehrlich once again reiterated his support for Andy Harris' campaign for Congress. On the Tom Marr Radio Show on 680AM Ehrlich Wednesday morning, Ehrlich was asked about the race in Maryland's first congressional district. Governor Ehrlich emphasized that Andy would be a great member of Congress. He spoke how Andy is being supported by numerous members of the Republican Party. Andy's record of helping to build the Republican Party was just one of the reasons so many elected officials have supported him according to Ehrlich. In closing Ehrlich said, "This race is Andy's to win." Andy has been endorsed by Governor Bob Ehrlich, 7 of the 8 State Senators who represent parts of the district, and numerous members of the House of Delegates.

Bob Ehrlich is right. It is Andy's to win. The entry of Pipkin in the race will hurt Gilchrist by spliting the eastern shore and liberal republican vote.
