When was the date of the deadline? Louise Smith you are a lying immoral disgraceful hypocrite.
November 1, 2007. Extended to December 10, 2007 and from what I have gathered there's no way it will be ready by then either.
Quoting Barrie Tilghman "The audit is complete". This statement will be repeated again this year.
Excuse #1 Pam Oland is pregnant.
Excuse #2 Pam Oland is short staffed. (this one is worn out)
Excuse #3 The departments have not completed their reports timely hindering Pam Oland from doing her job properly.

Who has video of Louise harping about the audit during her campaign? Think we need a clip of that on the blog. Louise you are a real piece of crap, of all the dishonest and cheating politicians in the Barrie gang YOU are the one we despise the most. Watch your back.
So why the H*** are we paying big bucks for this Pam Oland, if she can't get the job done? Last year she had the excuse of being new and finding her way. OK that's past now, so whats the holdup now?
Hell, I could do the audit and I'm not an accountant, but have had many, many budgets to prepare. Besides don't they use a local accounting firm to do the audit? Maybe we all should call Trice and Geary to see what's happening.

If the December 10 extension deadline comes and goes without the audit we should really create a stink about this because for the average apathetic voter who doesn't really pay attention to what is going on it WILL REVEAL how hypocritical and dishonest Louise Smith is. She got herself elected on the audit issue and now is part of the coverup. GET LOUISE!!!

Isn't this the 3rd year in a row the audit is late? Maybe it's the 4th year. When Pam Oland was hired that was the excuse, shes new to this, has a lot to learn, yada yada yada.
Last year, SSDY. That time she was understaffed, no resources, yada yada yada. Barrie assures the citizenry everything is on track for the next time around.
Here we are, next time around, year 3...NO AUDIT. Pam is pregnant so I guess that will be Barrie's excuse for this year.
Makes one wonder why Perdue didn't make Pam a counter offer to keep her there. The way things are going with the books in the city I'm sure they are thankful Barrie took her off their hands.
Why does the state allow this type of habitual behavior? Can't they see the pattern here? Anytime the mayor has to send the letter back to the CPA's to "soften" the language something is wrong. What's wrong Barrie, couldn't Pam handle the criticism or are you trying to hide the fact that she is not as proficient as you would have liked everyone to believe?
So what Salisbury has is Louise Smith claiming she is experienced in the fields of audits and compliance and Pam Oland is an experienced accountant. Hmmm all of this expertise in the same area and still we have no audit and we're paying these people good money for BS.

Louweasel has done NOTHING about the audit except say, "Yes, Barrie. Okay, Barrie."
So who's the hold up here? Pam Oland? The mayor? The audit firm?
Trice and Geary is the firm? Makes me glad I don't use them as my accountant. I don't know if they are at fault or not, but if their work isn't showing why this bunch can't get an audit out on time, I wouldn't have much confidence in it.
Come to think of it, what can we city taxpayers have confidence in any more when it comes to our local govt? Doesn't seem like there's much.
I don't know who is at fault here but I do believe Trice, Geary and Associates can't be held responsible if they are not sent the information required to audit the books. It all starts at the GOB with the Mayor. S**t rolls down hill, Pam Oland is at the bottom of this pile.
