The Daily Times has a detailed description of what happened HERE.
Taylor was shot in the leg in his own home and lost too much blood from the wound. Although his Family was hopeful after Taylor squeezed the hand of a nurse yesterday, he died early this morning.

Joe, that story is virtually word for word what I found on foxnews. Actually, it IS word for word. Isn't that called "Plagerism"?????
The Daily Times is a part of the Associated Press so I guess they can copy whomever they want?
Where I went to school, you would get an "F" for that sh*t
It's so sad, and not that I followed the story, but something doesn't make sense.
You live by the sword, you die by the sword. IF the truth comes out, I think we will see that this was not a "random" act.
This is such a tragedy!
TEACHERLADY, I DIDN'T SEE WHERE JOE WAS CLAIMING CREDIT FOR HOW HIS POST WAS WRITTEN.
Teach, you'd get an F anyway for not knowing what the Associated Press is AND for mispelling "plagiarism." Hope you don't teach my kids.

Please clue the rest of us in regarding the school you attended. The rest of us would like to try and avoid sending our kids there if we can help it.
Here's what the shame is, being able to have a great career playing football for a living and having something like this happen. He was a great Safety, and I believe trying to turn his life around. When these young athletes are put in instant success and not given life lessons on how to handle their wealth tragedy happens.
I think athletes are paid way to much for what they do, I think they should be paid well, but some are paid way more than they should get. When you are paid 100 million to play a game you love it is crazy.
You cant afford to watch the game becuase of it and the players cant handle the wealth. Its like winning the lottery and going broke or jail because you cant handle the change.
The ravens had a ton of criminals on the team, the Falcons has one in jail, Dolphins had one that refused to stop smoking marijuana.
Thats a crime....
Okay, Boys and Girls. Joe said the DT had a detailed story about the shooting. I clicked on it, and read it. I had read the article on foxnews, and thought it sounded vaugely familiar. Then I double checked it on http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,313041,00.html If that isn't shamefully close, then I don't know what is.
Teacherlady is right. It is too close for comfort. Someone could certainly take the wire feed and rework it a bit. One would think that since the paper is never delivered on time anyway, they can certainly take a moment to rework the story.
