Council Woman Campbell's Home ROCKS On Halloween!

They come by the van load just to stop at this home where the entire Family gets involved. The chainsaw with no chain in it is always rumbling and the scary music is heard all the way to the 49 foot mark, LOL. There's smoke everywhere and the little Trick or Treater's just love it! The line can go all the way to the street at times. Camden Ave is by far the best place to bring the kids for Halloween as they are always greeted with excited faces and plenty of great candy.

Now if only the other 80% of the property owners in the area would turn their lights on and participate in the festivities, that would be cool too.

I looked for you and your grandson and didn't see you, and after I invited you and everything! ;-)

I live on Camden and all I got were kids brought in from other neighborhoods threatening to take my candy, pushing on me to try to get in my house, and one was even trying to steal a pumpkin after he rang the door bell...dumb...this is my first Halloween in this neighborhood and if this is what these poor people have to deal with, I can't blame people for not turing on their lights, I have to think about it for next year. It is sad that these type of incidents ruin it for everyone, but my families safety comes before others' wants.

How very appropriate for a council member to be flying the official Salisbury city flag above her home. Very nice Mr & Mrs Campbell, its reassuring to know you support the mayor in such a manner.

When will this flag be official and available to everyone else?

We live on College Ave, and had a blast--tons of kids, great costumes, loads of fun. Sure kids come in from other neighborhoods, but who cares? Get the cheap candy and have a good time. Be thankful that you live in a nice neighborhood and can afford a massive $10 sack of candy to hand out to kids who come from poorer backgrounds, dimly lit neighborhoods, or places with no sidewalks. There is no excuse for rude behavior, but kids on a sugar high sometimes are rude! Maybe the kid was trying to get a better look at your pumpkin, not steal it! here's a tip--keep a separate bowl of those nasty peanut butter taffy things--you know the ones, with the orange and black wax paper wrappers--and hand those out to those older kids who show up with no costume. That'll teach 'em! But be sensitive to the fact that lots of kids can't afford outfits, or don't have parents who care enough to take them shopping. Our rule: if they make some sort of effort, they get the good stuff!

Debbie Campbell, a class act. Thank you for you service to the City.

I know you have a lot of crap to put up with, but it will be over with during the next election.

The WITCH will be gone.

Hang in there my friend.

We live off of Camden and by far the majority of kids were polite and well mannered, perhaps 10% were the too-old, no costume handful grabbing types, but even they said a polite "thankyou" after their greedy display! Some of the costumes were so adorable, and well thought out. And no evidence of mischief after hours either, all in all a success!
