An upcoming children's movie (The Golden Compass) that will be released on Dec. 7 during the Christmas season is totally against Christianity. The author of this trilogy is an atheist and is trying to influence children against God. At the end of his trilogy the children kill God and are free to live as they please.
It stars Nicole Kidman, so this will get a lot of publicity. Spread the word to your Christian friends with children and grandchildren. The link below gives more details.

So will you take your grandchild to see the movie? Are you a devowt Christian? I may take my 9 year old to see it, and may check out the books.
There are always two sides to every opinion. Children should not have church forced on them like I was. maybe thats why I have feelings of doubt about the role of church in our society.
I dont think I am an athesist, but do wonder many times lately why God does what he does.
I think all people should see this movie and decide for themselves. And read the books... not buy them but get them from the library maybe.
Like I said, I am not totally convinced of an all powering God. Hate me if you will, but I have my reasons. I have an open mind, and hope you all do also.

GO CAPS!! ( I mean what God would not have let the Caps win at least one Stanley Cup yet??!!) :)

They definetly past due.
I haven't seen or heard about this movie, but why the hysteria? The Christian notion of creation sounds like it came out straight out of Marvel Comics, and it's survived so far.
Why do some Christians keep peeing themselves every time someone points out the obvious absurdity of the biblical story of creation? Most sophisticated Christians understand it's simply a myth.
No one is forcing people to attend this movie. You have a CHOICE! And believe me, I am more fearful of the sexual abuse of small children by priests than I am of a movie. One is quite real, the other a work of fiction.
children are enough a problem as it is...due to lack of parental guidance and enforcement,IMO.
Now a movie comes along that makes it alright to kill GOD so the children can live as they please?
I thought that's what they did anyways.
All the kids I know rule their parents.
In this day and age nothing surprises me anymore!
I'm no devout Christian (and I know very, very few even tho I know a lot of "supposed to be's" but that's another story), and I have my share of problems with God, but if any of you ever doubt that He's there just lay in a field at night and look up into the stars...it's amazing and someone HAD to put all this together. It always works for me when I have my doubts.
