Just in time...your buddy Frank White got busted for DWI over the weekend. Where's your report?

There's a BIG difference between a DWI & a DUI. Get your facts straight.

yeah you refuse the breath test and they only charge you with DUI, but they take your lic and the charges carry the same penalties

joe is not a reporter, he is just posting his opionions, even when they are wrong

"JOE" doesn't claim to be a Reporter, only the anti Albero people call me that.

I have a Blog and guess what, it's FREE. If you don't like it, don't come back. Believe me, you won't hurt my feelings.

The day you PAY me to deliver you the news is the day you'll get everything and some.

All sniping aside,I was suprised not to see news of Whites arrest here because usually any politician behaving badly makes for good news.dont take this the wrong way,but it occurs to me if it were one of Salisburys "dream team" you would have been all over it.Again,i am not criticizing and its your blog to do what you want,I am just making a point and unlike SOME people,I am not using the anonymous option to shield me.I wouldnt even bother to comment on it but drunk drivers,DUI or DWI,make me sick.My daughter will never know her great-uncle Chuck because some asshole got behind the wheel sh*tfaced and killed him in 1986.

blutojthetotmom,

You make an excellent point, there's no question about that.

At the risk of sounding cocky, yet not at all meaning to, it is my Blog and I did choose to not post anything about it.

What Frank did was wrong and it was a mistake he'll regret for a very long time.

I will say "I did NOT get a Press Release on it." Why, I don't know?

Secondly, I may not have picked up on it either because it stated Paul Franklin White. I received a call late last night from another News Agency telling me what was on the Press Release.

I have not deleted the comments on here about it, unless they were defamatory remarks and I'll continue to allow anyone and everyone to make remarks. I believe that to be the right thing to do.

There have been other DUI's localy that have not been Posted either.

I did speak to Frank last night and believe me, he is so down about the entire thing it isn't funny. He knows and regrets this mistake and he informed me that he is going to create a Press Release about it very soon. I'll leave those details up to Frank to express.

Joe how many times did you run the sports lady in the ground over her arrest? You post her photo many times.

Now because its one of your friends its ok..

Double standards

Dave,

I did not have a photo of Frank being arrested. Secondly, I was out of town when the entire thing happened as well.

Someone registered on our discussion board last night and posted the story. Frank is a heck of a nice guy, he kinda reminds of Bill Clinton. People who had the opportunity to meet Bill would always say what a nice guy he was, but boy he sure got himself in some sh*t.

My family and I have known him for about 20 years, but he does get himself into trouble. How many Chiefs of Police do weekends?

Frank is an engaging guy. No doubt about it. The fact is there's little differance in DWI or DUI. He refused a breathalizer test. It's common knowledge down in Somerset County that White drinks and drives ALL the time. If there's a party, he's there. The only regrets he has are that he got nailed.

I shall not judge.

I can recall before my sobriety, or I should say I couldn't recall before my sobriety, and made that mistake more than enough.

Either someone above was looking out for me, or like my favorite saying "I'd rather be lucky than good." Breaking the law and not getting caught is no better than breaking the law and getting caught, you risk your own life and the lives of others, children, babies.

Not getting caught doesn't make the news, none-the-less I put myself and others in danger, I'm a lucky person to be alive.

Concerns go out to Frank and the road to recovery.
