See what I mean? A Zoo in Chicago held a competition with Pumpkins. Why doesn't the City hold some kind of contest. I think that would be realy cool, don't you?

This Saturday there is going to be a Pumpkin Fest in Downtown Salisbury. Live music and fun for the whole family--I'll send details as soon as I get them!

Yes, it would be great to do something like that for our kids here. Also, we should have a holloween costume contest at the civic center, with lots of prizes for the kids, along with candy for all. How about that Gary Mackes?

Pumpkin carving is a great way to instill creativity and imagination, a nice prize would be cool too.

Um, no offense, but pretty much all of these pictures on the two posts have been floating around on pumpkin carving websites for years now. They're not from any recent event.

My husband knows the zoo in the pics. I think it would be great, but something would have to be done to make sure the punks didn't smash them.
GREAT point. Lord knows the Salisbury Police Department can't protect them/us.
