Is This The Kind Of Salisbury You Want To Live In?

Three Canadian Geese were killed yesterday on Carroll Street near Circle Avenue. The birds were struck by a vehicle and killed instantly, (I hope). Feathers could be seen blowing all the way down the road and I'd love to know who did it!

Obviously no one cares working for the City because the bodies are still lying there 36 hours later. More Salisbury Crap To Come..........

PB,

You're right in the fact that I do drive with my left hand and the right is on the shutter.

However, you're wrong when it comes to DNR and the Law.

Sadly, it is not an offense when you hit a "wild animal." If it were a domestic animal such as a cat or dog you are liable to make your best effort to rescue the animals AND find the owner.

So whoever did this is an a hole out for a thrill. Hmmm, reminds me of someone. LOL

This really freeking makes me sad. There is no excuse or reason why this had to happen.
Joe, I'm not so sure the case couldn't be made for them being domestic. They no longer migrate, they eat mostly people food and hand outs. They parade their young on the same streets as we do and hang out on the same golf courses as our local execs.

But, this incident is minor compared to what your favorite local poultry company did to hundreds of local geese that hung out and raised thier young by the corporate ponds! They had the DNR come in and irradicate all of them. Granted the meat went to a food bank, (so said). But alas it was only effective for a whole month or two. If you have green grass, ponds, corn fields and a safe from hunters enviroment then guess what???? their brothers and sisters will (have) returned.
Ta Daaaaa Go Geese Go!
