I heard through a very reliable source today that Major Doris Schonbrunner will quit her job on December 1, 2006.The Wicomico County Sheriffs Department will take a huge blow once this becomes official as even I had hoped Doris would stick it out for a little while, keeping the Citizens and fellow Deputies in mind while such a major transformation occurs with Sheriff Mike Lewis taking over.
Nevertheless, we wish Major Schonbrunner the very best for her future and I'm confident Sheriff Lewis is on the ball and will make the proper choices to fill this position.
It has also been said that Major Schonbrunner has chosen to work 16 straight days at the Salisbury Airport taking in overtime pay at a Major's salary, which could have been given to Deputies who could have used the extra income for the Holidays. You gotta love the politics in Wicomico County!

I am reporting the news, period. It has been mentioned in some comments on one of my posts and I followed up on the information. There are no politcis being played here, just the truth, unlike other sources for news locally.
She's done an okay job as an administrator,what with her being close to the Sheriff and all.
Now, if only we could get Fruitland Sandra to fall on her sword, and not Teddy's.

Joe you need to give up this blog since all of your news is always completely wrong. You are the worst person to report news and get everything mixed up all the time. Remember in school when there was a line of kids and they would tell the first kid a statement for example the cow is red...by the time it was at the end of the line the statement was Joe was wrong!

Rumors, rumors, rumors. This is what happens when a real leader (woman) that is very good at what she does gets from deputies that cannot deal with real life. They spread rumors that are not true. Same is going on with Fruitland Sandra. She is very good at what she does and men cannot stand that. Next thing that happens rumors start. If you believe everything that you see on the blog and hear, then you are a bigger fool that I think you are. Men cannot stand a woman being in charge in the police business. Same thing happened with Ocean City. Rumors started there. Us women have to stick together. Wake up and stop believing what you read and hear.
Try asking the deputies at any department of what dogs they are? You would be very supprised of the true answers that you would not believe. Again stop listening to rumors only.

Rumors are a horrible thing and there's absolutely no proof anyone did anything wrong.
I know Doris and her Husband and there's noting going on IMO. Without proof those are horrible things to say and challenge someone with.
