Black male, late teens to mid twenties, 5’06”-5’11”, 140-180 lbs, thin to average build, medium brown complexion, wearing black and blue checkered bandana, dark sleeveless shirt and dark shorts.
Injuries:

Resume:
Delaware State Police are investigating an attempted robbery and shooting which occurred early Sunday morning July 25, 2010. The incident occurred at the 7-11 convenience store located at 284 Christiana Road New Castle, Delaware around 12:59 a.m. (Intersection of Rt. 273 and Airport Road)
The investigation revealed that the victim along with two other friends were at the 7-11 convenience store when they were approached by a black male. The black male suspect displayed a silver handgun and demanded valuables from the victim. The victim was seated in the right passenger seat at the time of the robbery. The victim did not acknowledge the suspect’s demands and the vehicle she was in began backing out of their space. As the vehicle backed out of its space the suspect fired a single round into the right passenger front door which penetrated to the interior of the car striking the victim in the lower leg calf area.
The vehicle the victim was in continued away from the scene and the operator transported the 21 year-old friend to Christiana Hospital where the incident was reported to police. The victim is listed in good condition as of 7:00 a.m. this morning being treated for a non-life threatening injury.
The driver of the vehicle the victim was in along with the rear passenger were not injured.
The suspect was described as black male, late teens to mid twenties, 5’06”-5’11”, 140-180 lbs, thin to average build, medium brown complexion, wearing black and blue checkered bandana, dark sleeveless shirt and dark shorts.
