A Democratic sheriff in Indiana has publicly abandoned his party just two months ahead of the November election, and he cited his faith and attacks from members of his former party on law enforcement and the American flag on the way out.
Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding announced the switch last week outside of a business in Evansville while in the presence of Indiana Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, a Republican.
The Evansville Courier & Press reported Wedding was elected sheriff as a Democrat in 2014 and again in 2018.
By switching parties publicly, he wanted to make a statement against nationwide civil unrest and anti-police sentiment, according to WFIE-TV.
Wedding says he believes the Democratic Party has lost its compass.

That party lost it's way in 2008 - when they ventured in to the Affirmative Action experiment at the executive level. They showed they were still lost in 2016 - with another Affirmative Action candidate...
Thank goodness that the country was able to see through both of those and elect a Patriotic president!

12:11 he was elected by the American people, twice. Something tells me you wouldn't recognize communism if it slapped you in the face, mostly because an overreaching government with no checks and balances is occurring right now and you can't seem to let go of the past to realize it.

Independent here and 12:58 is correct, the Right Wing of Bush's and Romney's, is same as Left Wing of Biden's, Clinton's and Obama's. Therefore I'm voting for Law & Order
