Berlin Filing Deadline Passes With Five Mayoral Candidates

BERLIN – A highly contested mayoral race highlights this fall’s municipal election in Berlin.

With the filing deadline last Friday, the field is now set for the town’s Oct. 6 election. Five candidates are vying for the position of mayor and there are contested races for two of the three council positions up for grabs. There is, however, still time for write-in candidates to file.

“People have until Sept. 29 to file as a write-in candidate,” said Mary Bohlen, deputy town administrator. “They will not appear on the ballot.”

Candidates for mayor on this year’s ballot include Jennifer Allen, Ron Bireley, Bill Todd, Zack Tyndall and incumbent Gee Williams.

Mayoral candidate Zack Tyndall is the Paramedic that sued David Fitzgerald and the Berlin Fire Department and made bank off of them.

David Fitzgerald is an unofficial supervisor now working for the Wicomico County Department of Emergency Services and terrorizing those employees just like he did with Paramedic Zack Tyndal.

With that history why is he working for Wicomico County???

Undisclosed Settlement Reached In Berlin Fire Company Harassment Lawsuit
Oct 13,2015 by Charlene Sharpe

"A settlement has been reached in the $8 million harassment lawsuit filed against the Berlin Fire Company by one of its former paramedics."

"“The resolution is confidential,” said Jim Otway, Tyndall’s attorney. “I can state that it was resolved to my client’s satisfaction.”"

"David Fitzgerald, president of the Berlin Fire Company (BFC), said this week he could not comment on the case."

Berlin Fire Company Subject Of Second Harassment Lawsuit
Sep 18,2017 by Charlene Sharpe

"Dean was reportedly on medical leave until January 2013. According to the lawsuit, BFC President David Fitzgerald told him he’d have to have a psychological evaluation before he returned. When a psychiatrist had deemed Dean fit for duty, Fitzgerald allegedly told him he’d have to go through training in Talbot County first, in spite of the fact that he’d in the past trained and evaluated EMS students at a local college."

"On April 4, 2013, within days of completing that training, Dean was driving with his son when their vehicle was struck by a drunk driver. Dean suffered multiple injuries and, as advised by his doctor, told Fitzgerald he wouldn’t be able to return to work until May 14, 2013. The lawsuit claims Dean received written notice he’d been fired shortly after that."

"Attempts to reach Fitzgerald were unsuccessful on Monday."

Ask them what they will do if "protesters" try to invade Berlin....Gee Williams will not give a direct answer... haven't asked the other ones yet.

Probably go out and wash their feet. Then march behind them because they can't march with them.

Fitzgerald terrorized employees in Worcester County also. Let’s not forget about that!

Anyone is better than Gee.
He has raised taxes and just stutters for answers.

To be accurate Tyndall sued quite a few people including fire company. Frtizgerald Brian Trimble and Norris Donahue and Derrick Simpson. The cases against Fritzgerald and Donohue were dismissed leaving zyrimble and Simpson and company.
