The social media campaign, marked by the hashtag #BoycottMulan, is led by Hong Kong activists who are protesting a controversial, pro-police comment that Mulan star Yifei Liu made last summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The discussion (to put it politely) about Mulan first began at height of the protests in Hong Kong in 2019, which found pro-democracy activists protesting a bill that would allow criminal suspects in Hong Kong to be extradited to mainland China. Clashes between protestors and Hong Kong police became violent, according to a report from the BBC, leading to more protests against police brutality.

Disney owns ABC. Any boycott of Disney is a good boycott.
Some people are canceling out Disney altogether. Mindless crap.
All (read that as being in caps) things Disney are on my Do Not Buy or Patronize list. Kind of a shame because they used to top of the heap, for decades.
