LANDOVER — The American Indian logo at midfield is gone. So are the giant burgundy letters that once spelled out “REDSKINS” across each end zone. The banner proclaiming the stadium the “Home of the Redskins” has been taken down.
A lot has changed at FedEx Field. But look closely and it’s not hard to find remnants of the past. Deleting decades of history, it turns out, isn’t easy.
More than a month has passed since the Washington Football Team, under mounting pressure from its corporate partners, abandoned a name that, though revered by longtime fans, had become a target for activists.

NFL...Not For Long. The cancel culture and protesting have turned off fans. I for one couldn't care less if they ever play again.

More Americans than any other sporting league, movie, TV Show, or any other form of entertainment honestly. The NFL's views dwarf anything else on TV at all times.
I hope the fans keep wearing their 'Skins shirts into the next millennium and beyond.

The NFL is spineless. Making a team change their name over 'controversy' after decades is ridiculous. Why were they targeted? No other team, football, baseball, etc went under pressure to change their name.
If the name change wasn't enough, lets give the Black Anthem a go. Will the White players kneel? Will the Black players kneel?
This country has gone to sh*t. Absolutely no respect for the Flag (what the hell did it do to offend anyone)...the same with the National Anthem.
Take one UN-talented player who isn't good enough to play in the NFL, who starts kneeling....and this is the result.
Things will only get worse from here on out. White folks are now the minority, and don't ever use a name like Redskins again. For shame!
The NFL will find out soon enough that their inconsistent antics have pretty much pushed fans away....and at this point the fans won't return.
