Jason Whitlock on Report NFL Will Play Black National Anthem: ‘Cowardice at Its Highest Level’

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Outkick.com’s Jason Whitlock addressed the NFL’s decision to reported plan to play the black national anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” prior to games in addition to “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Whitlock said the NFL’s leadership caving to Black Lives Matter, which he deemed “a Marxist political organization,” is a “historic failure” and “cowardice at its highest level.”

“The NFL will run off a nice, fat chunk of its audience and will never be seen the same again because of the failure of leadership throughout the NFL,” Whitlock told host Tucker Carlson. “There’s no way you can do any homework on Black Lives Matter and not see that it’s a Marxist political organization. It’s not about black deaths. It’s not about black men. It is a political move, it is a communist political move. For those people that stand on religious values, and this is where I say just a failure of men, I’ve seen many of these guys that claim their Christianity and their religious beliefs — do they understand Black Lives Matter, communist Marxism is antireligious? This is a historic failure of men and leadership. This is cowardice at its highest level. This is the NFL jumping the shark and saying we quit being who we said we are. We are now something else, because our money’s on the line and we don’t stand for the values we said we stood for.”

The boobs that are the players who support this foolishness can't see beyond their own ignorance. Viewership will suffer, NFL licensed gear sales will suffer, sponsors will suffer and, lastly, players will again get the "crumbs" of what were huge incomes now reduced to all that the league owners can or will pay. In the end, the players will pay the price, but they're just too focused on the Left's narrative, which they seem to buy, hook, line and sinker. A big readjustment is coming, but it's not the one they think it is.

Doesn’t that suggest the National anthem isn’t for blacks ? How racist of the nfl

Before anybody says "I'm not watching the NFL any longer", I say this:
Watch the game. Enjoy the game.
Also make it known that we, as fans, will boycott ALL sponsors that appear on-screen during the game.
This country needs a leader to organize something like this.
If well-organized, this nonsense would stop within weeks of airing.
Money talks, and it talks loudly in this case.

Good article

We must conclude what is obvious:
It has nothing to do with money or entertainment

The day this happens, is the day I NO LONGER CARE ABOUT "BLACK LIVES". I WILL continue to care about ALL LIVES, regardless of color, creed, religion, wealth etc, but I will NO LONGER keep that little special compassion for whatever hardships etc blacks have experienced! Once BLACKS decide THEY should honor their own National anthem, then THEY are no longer a citizen as far ad I'm concerned! I will no longer invest any time, or compassion towards anyone whom doesn't respect our National anthem! Screw em!

I for one I will not be watching. It is all about money - players are being paid way too much. It is insane. Disgusting.

To say there is a black national anthem is to imply that there is a black nation here in the United States.

Did we miss some important legislation while we were napping?

A weekly list of all of the advertisers who support this Bizarroland nonsense would be helpful.

I just have to ask, who's up for boycotting Budweiser?

Nobody ever accused football players of being intelligent, 11:37. Most of them are drooling vegetables who can barely spell their own name. These are morons who belong on AOL message boards (where their low I.Q.s would fit right in).

Never knew they even had a “black national anthem.” Would have thought it would have been “the thong song” or Yung Thuggi G’s latest mumble chant.

Does anyone know the music to this so-called anthem? Does it have a good beat? Can you twerk to it?

I won't be enjoying watching monkeys chasing a brown odd shaped ball around anymore. Thank you 1215

Northwest Woodsman: Solution is simple: just stop watching football and find something constructive like establishing a militia group among your patriotic friends and neighbors. I quit watching the Negro Football League (NFL) years ago and don’t miss it at all. As a matter of fact, I stopped watching television in1993 and relieved myself of a lot of frustration from the unbelievable trash that is American tv production. It is all an indoctrination of some sort with messages intended to guide you into thinking in a certain Marxist democrat way. There are but few conservative patriots on tv as it is almost totally owned and controlled by a group bent on our destruction.
