Atlanta, GA – Rioters set fire to bushes, cars, and a Wendy’s restaurant Saturday night to protest the fatal officer-involved shooting of Rayshard Brooks.
Police formed a line to try to keep the rioters off if I-75/85, but they continued to set fires in the area.
The rioters set off fireworks inside of the Wendy’s restaurant on University Ave near I-75/85 at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Footage from the scene shows that the building is on fire.

That’s not what Gayle King told America this morning. She said Rayshard Brooks, an innocent black man, was shoot in the back two times by white police officers.
He ALSO punched the cop twice then Aimed and Shot off the taser to the officers face.
So the mayor wants the officer terminated for "unjustified" use of force. The suspect had already gotten into a fist fight with two officers, taken one of their tasers and attempted to flee the scene. While being pursued, the suspect turns around and fires the taser at the officer. What if he had hit the officer with the taser and incapacitated him? Now he has access to his service weapon. Deadly force is completely justified to any reasonable person. Sadly, he'll be just another poster child for "police racism" instead of the criminal he was.
The officer was completely justified. US supreme court ruled that in Tennessee vs Garner in the 80s.

So let me get this straight. A suspect started and police finished the incident. And Wendy’s got totally burned to the ground causing the owner their livelihood along with employees loosing their livelihood and community loosing a convenient close by place to get some nourishment. And Wendy’s was charged and convicted of just what??
Until one wears the shoes AND is placed into an immediate situation that includes a super adrenaline rush - you can't suggest what shoulda/coulda/woulda.
No training prepares one for split second decisions. Experience does - unfortunately many LEOs will be terminated, reprimanded or quit based on current society knee jerk opinions/reactions.
It takes time to have a good trained and experienced LEO/first responder force. Doesn't not happen over night.

In that moment and after fighting the suspect, how did the cop know it was a taser he turned around and pointed at him???
Punch a cop, steal a weapon, flee, and then turn around and point SOMETHING at him??
