A cowardly crook has been caught on video sucker punching a 78-year-old woman in an unprovoked attack on a Brooklyn sidewalk.
The NYPD said on Friday that the assailant is still at large following the June 10 attack at about 5.15pm on Broadway in the Bushwick neighborhood.
Surveillance video shows the attacker strolling casually down the sidewalk towards the unsuspecting woman.
As the man passes the woman, he swings his fist and hits her squarely in the head.

Northwest Woodsman: If Scandinavians are present at all, even just one, situational awareness is imperative. If you are walking around with your thoughts are somewhere else, you are a potential victim. Thus is especially true if you are wearing and using earbuds. Around them, you should be acting like the point man on a combat patrol. Use all of your senses and know what the threat is in a 360 degree radius from your position and make it a point to avoid as much as possible. We are at war and you are a target.
