(Gateway Pundit) – General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff addressed graduates at the National Defense University on Thursday morning.
During his speech Milley apologized for joining US President Trump and walking over to St. John’s Church the day after it was torched by violent leftist protesters.
General Milley told the graduates this was a “political event” and he should not have stood with the President.
Leftist looters and rioters defaced the Korean War Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial and torched St. John’s Church during their rioting and Milley believes standing with the US President was a “political event.”

Why would he do such a thing the deep state must have something on him
This is why the military is so messed up and always will be. He has eaten buckets of poo and been a puppet for the past 25 years in order to get his rank. Now all off a sudden standing with the President during a national emergency when federal buildings are being attacked is a political event? His statement is a distraction and will cause a hearing in congress.
What a jerk; he's much too stupid and tone deaf for his job. He fell in with the other members of the entourage walking over to the burned church. He had a choice and followed.
Later he verbally walked back his accompanying the president. That should have been the end of his comments on topic.
After 9/11 all the Congress members stood on the steps of the Capitol and sang God Bless America. This schmuck was on active duty then; he should have appreciated that fire bombing a church by the White House that all presidents since Madison have worshiped in was 'a bridge too far' in the realm of permissible protest. He walked over, that was all; his presence was symbolic like that of other officials present.
Most of the current high echelon military 'leaders' made their stars and promotions during Zero's regime. Connect the dots.

Another General soon to be fired by the commander-in chief. It's never a good thing to criticize your boss while you're still on the payroll.
Peaceful protesters were dispersed against the law so Trump could have a photo taken. They were not the looters. Their right to peaceful demonstration is in the same Bill of Rights as your freedom of speech and gun rights, which you hold so dear.
