"Right now, communities are experiencing different levels of transmission occurring, as they gradually ease up onto the community mitigation efforts and gradually reopen," the CDC's deputy director for infectious diseases, Jay Butler, told reporters during a press briefing.
"If cases begin to go up again, particularly if they go up dramatically, it's important to recognize that more mitigation efforts such as what were implemented back in March may be needed again," Butler said.
He said the decision to reimplement measures will have to be made locally and based on "what is happening within the community regarding disease transmission."
The "pandemic is not over" and it's important to recognize that Covid-19 is still making headlines everywhere, he added.

Publishers Notes: See, this is exactly what I've been afraid of when it comes to reopening. If you hadn't noticed, every state is pressing for EVERY citizen to get tested. Remember the SYMPTOMS and all of a sudden they want everyone tested. Nevertheless, restaurant/bars are throwing millions of dollars to reopen and the threat of closing once again will be the final straw for almost every one of them.

Many of the tests were infected with the virus. So you take the test, and they give you the virus. Also remember, they could simply release it again in areas to create the desired result.

I am seeing reports of many protesters testing positive. Some are claiming they already had Covid which means either antibodies are slow to develop in some or as happens not all will make antibodies. Masks will not help at a protest. I said it before I will say it again protesters may as well wear the masks on their a$$es because they will not help one bit.
Remember the hair stylists that tested positive and had contact with over 140 clients? Not one client tested positive.

The rising positive cases are the protesters. It's showing up even in Australia among the protesters. The protesters are a horrid group of people who have no consideration for others. They just want to go and show off. God will continue to deal with them and He will have the last word We saw it with the one getting the statue on the head and his skull and brains flattened. No worries if your in Ocean City. The people are acting like there is't even a virus going on. I was there this past week and all systems are go. I had to wait almost two hours to get a outside seat. The takeout was super busy. There is a bunch of pent up demand out there. I talked to a owner of one local place and sales have exceeded what they normally do. Good food and you will make good money and if you rely on on sit down bar rats maybe you wait.
5 people were tested in a family I know personally ... they tested positive and have NO symptoms ... NO MORE FEAR PORN ... I will NOT fall into this category...
