Presidential hopeful Joe Biden has narrowed his list of potential running mates down to three women, The Associated Press has reported.
Elizabeth Warren is considered the top contender on his shortlist, along with former national security adviser Susan Rice and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif.
Experts think Warren can appeal to energetic liberal Democrats while Biden pulls in the more moderate members of the party. But since both are in their 70s, neither would bring any youth to the ticket.
As a former United Nations ambassador, Rice comes with foreign policy experience. But her time working as a diplomat was marred by lack of leadership in 2012, when four Americans were killed and 10 others were wounded in separate attacks by Muslim extremists in Benghazi, Libya.

Rice is an excellent choice. Extremely bright, Rhodes scholar, great executive branch experience, former UN Ambassador and National Security Adviser. She has it all. My money is on Rice or Harris.

Rice wrote the CYA memo on Inauguration Day about Zero's supposed 'stay legal' directive. No elected or practical experience I'm aware of, but meets SlowJoe's visual requirement.
Harris is descended from Jamaican slaveholders on her father's side and a country of India mom; mostly raised in Canada. Working under CA political boss Willie Brown and servicing his needs is her resume builder. Didn't cut the mustard as part of the primary clown car.
Warren, the imaginary Cherokee, didn't cut the mustard in the primaries either. The whole country knows she's a serial liar. Best ethical match for Corn-Pop & Joe?

6:17 - I agree with you that Rice will be tapped for this, but not for the reason you stated. She is being put into play with an eye on replacing Biden. Should he succeed in beating President Trump, Biden will likely have to be tended to. I think the DNCs plan all along was getting someone in to the White House to take over, and this would be the way to do it. Additionally, Rice definitely knows where all the skeletons are buried, and the DNC/Clinton’s/Obama’s / everyone associated with the repeated and illegal attempts to remove trump from office will put Rice forward. As far as I can see it, this is about the last thing they can do (besides mail in ballots that they will manipulate). Of course, if they win, all of the work done to drain the swamp and get America back on track will be lost. The DNC knows it is only a matter of time if Trump wins before they are all in serious legal jeopardy.
