WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump shot down the massive new Democratic coronavirus relief package ahead of a planned House vote Friday.
"DOA. Dead on arrival. Of course, Nancy Pelosi knows that," he told reporters Wednesday at the White House.
About one-third of the $3 trillion legislation is relief for state, local and tribal governments, which many Republicans are resisting. The measure also includes assistance to essential workers, an extension of unemployment insurance beyond July, another round of $1,200 direct cash payments and various other measures that are unlikely to gain bipartisan support but serve as an opening bid for Democrats.

As it should be! They haven't even spent all the cash from the last Bill! The ONLY items in there should be funds to keep ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY services running, and continued financial support for ONLY CITEZENS that have lost jobs, or have had hours reduced! In addition, ALL dollars spent MUST. Be accountable regarding where they're actually spent. And lastly...WHY the hell are SS, Welfare, disability, recipients, as well as ANYONE that's STILL working at the rate they were making getting ANY MONEY??? Their all getting their normal monthly checks + this magic money!!! I'm retired, and on Social Security...I'm still getting my normal monthly amount. I've lost NOTHING, so why am I getting MORE? Yes, I LOVE money being thrown at me, but being a "realist" there's NO reasonable rational for this! NONE! Why is my friend, who is working for local government getting EXTRA money? Hes working full time! This is INSANLY RIDICULUS....WE DONT HAVE THIS FREE MONEY! Printing money that we DONT have is like thinking just because you still have checks in your

They want to give stimulus checks to all illegals. Plus to keep from deporting illegals so they will take our jobs. They also have in there a provision to release any prisoners with diabetes or heart disease and any over the age of 50. Because of covid 19 they say.Also gives tax breaks to the rich. It doesn't really do much for middle class Americans.
I too am not in need of the stimulus money - I also hate to see welfare people (generation after Generation) receive the same as a Working individual. Dems want to give illegal immigrants stimulus money too.

The Senate should PASS the portion of the bill Needed for us & just
