A viral post written by a veteran professor on Medium recently grabbed prospective students' attention in saying provocatively: "This is a message to all high school seniors (and their parents). If you were planning to enroll in college next fall — don’t."
"No one knows whether colleges and universities will offer face-to-face instruction in the fall, or whether they will stay open if they do," University of La Verne law professor Diane Klein wrote. "No one knows whether dorms and cafeterias will reopen, or whether team sports will practice and play."
"It’s that simple. No one knows. Schools that decide to reopen may not be able to stay that way. A few may decide, soon, not even to try. Others may put off the decision for as long as possible — but you can make your decision now," the veteran teacher said, making the case that it's the worst time ever for families to make the massive financial commitment. After all, who wants to drop an initial $50K or more to potentially sit at home for Fall 2020 and take online classes?

Take that college money and invest in oil stocks.
Or you could pay 1/2 that for 2 years and get an associate degree at your local community college. First year classes can be taken completely online.
Had never heard of her university. According to Wiki 31% of her Law School grads pass the California Bar Exam; that's half the rate of the rest of the exam takers.
So I think students would be wise to avoid her university in all circumstances; good weather or bad; healthy or plague!
Boo hoo, guess you won't be getting another multi million dollar building! Colleges waste money like it's their job!
Well well well....seems lots of things will reset we it pertains to $$$$$$$$$. Big oil taking a nose dive. College tuition, professional athletes...we could be seeing a right sizing of sorts.
This is gonna be fun to watch.
207 and guess what. There still won't be a good paying job at the end of that tunnel.
The Liberals' cleverly crafted higher education system needs a come-to-Jesus moment. Or two.
You are a fat, fascist asshole and I hope your business fails.

My son is headed to Frostburg this fall after completing associates. We have already talked about the possibility that his first semester might be online. I know it will save on board and food for sure which is a bad thing. What will he will be.
The U.S. Gov effed up higher education when they backstopped loans for every degree of BS Degree. No underwriting No risk control No responsibility. The fault is more of the government than of the pitiful children miseducated by the U.S. Ed System and greedy bankers willing to make riskless loans. And the batshit Administrators that let batshit professors teach classes on Disparate Impact for Gender-Queer Families In Low income neighborhoods.
Good close down all colleges and run the socialist professors out of the USA. They only indoctrinate the students in socialism anyway . Good example is antifa.
