Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican but a frequent critic of President Donald Trump, took a bow for getting coronavirus testing kits from South Korea, but the president shot back the governor should have known who to call for tests in his own state.
"The governor of Maryland could've called Mike Pence and could've saved a lot of money," Trump told the coronavirus task force daily briefing Monday, pointing to a map of Maryland showing all of the testing laboratories. "Look at all those different places, and that's Maryland right there, so could have saved a lot of money, but that's OK.
"No, I don't think he needed to go to South Korea. I think he needed to get a get a little knowledge. That would've been helpful."
Pence expressed frustration with the fact media and governors are not listening to the guidance of the White House coronavirus task force: The testing needed is already there in the states, most not being utilitized, and the full capacity is not being released locally.

It's sad Hogan and Trump don't have a better relationship. When I asked a person (who supposedly knows) why Hogan isn't supportive of Trump, I was told he has to please the people on the other side of the bay. I think that's sad!

If this is indicative of Gov. Hogan’s overall knowledge of resource availability, every Marylander should be concerned about his judgement in other areas, and decisions and mandates that he is making. Truly he appears to be less intelligent than I thought, and for sure less spineless if he has succumbed to the vast “liberal influence” on the western shore and is allowing it to impact his decisions and rhetoric. Then again he may just not know how to proceed with a wise course and good communication with our National COVID-19 virus team headed up by Vice President Pence.
Hogan is an idiot and he proved it this morning on FOX. Hogan stated he did not know of Federal Labs in MD and then said he was not aware he could use them. Very contradictory. This also tells us Hogan is out of touch with the business community by not knowing all types of businesses in MD. Hogan proves he is not out of touch with the business community just like he is out of touch with all MD citizens.
Why is Hogan attempting to please the Western Shore / Baltimore / DC corridor when he is the Governor of all of MD. Not only that he is not getting elected again he has his outlandish pension from MD tax payers. Just proves he is a DEMOCRAT.

Either Trump is lying or lots of governors are. Since he doesn't remember having a rally in March, or even leaving the White House, perhaps Trump's statements are less than accurate.
