A Pennsylvania consignment store owner who had to lay off her employees as a result of the economic shutdown wondered why big box retailers are able to sell children’s clothes while she was forced to shut down, telling Breitbart News that stores like Target and Walmart “shouldn’t be allowed to sell kids clothes if I can’t.”
Brittany Allen, owner of Fashion Cents Consignment in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, said she employs 35 to 40 people but had to lay them off on March 16 as a result of the economic shutdown. She applied for a waiver to do small party shopping and curbside pickup but was ultimately denied.
Allen, who attended Monday’s protest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, said:
It was all very quick. I didn’t really have time to prepare my employees about what was going to happen. We had to lay everybody off. I had some money saved up, but I had a mortgage, and I had, you know, electric and utilities to pay, and I didn’t have any way to keep anyone back on payroll. And it was really rough for everybody.

Hey store owner let me ask you this, am I more likely to get the virus on a sail boat with 10 people or a motor boat with 10 people???? Also it is the same situation with California during the drought they had last year, they had to conserve water, yet they would let wal-mart buy up all of the water with not having to conserve water... They wanted the residence to conserve water so the got could keep selling it to wal-mart to put on their shelves... But hey its all for safety and for the people!!!!

Are you drinking your beer inside Walmart? No, you're wearing a mask while purchasing it. In a bar, you're going to go without a mask to drink. Since we have to wear a mask now in any retail establishment, it makes drinking in a bar a bit more difficult.
You can buy shoes at Walmart but not Vernon Powell or Boscov's.

Yes, Walmart being allowed to sell items other than groceries isn't fair to other retail stores (large or small). The stay at home order says you can go out for groceries, pharmacy items, or medical care. They should only have the grocery section open at Walmart. If you need to buy clothes or nail polish, you can buy it online and wait for it to be delivered.
Yes, there are Walmarts that sell beer and wine.
