Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the issues that make minority communities more susceptible to the coronavirus are economic.
"Obviously, there are certain things we can do to make sure that preexisting conditions don’t exist," Ocasio-Cortez said on The View on Wednesday. "But, ultimately, it’s inequity that’s the preexisting condition ... and you can’t just go to someone and tell them, 'Hey, you should have had healthcare this whole time when you’re working an hourly job and your employer doesn’t give it to you.'"
Surgeon General Jerome Adams recently said blacks, Latinos and other minority groups have a greater risk of contracting the virus.

Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with behavior, could it. It’s gotten better, but I still see seven or eight at a time hanging out in front yards and in the street.
Sneaking into a country illegally, then living in the shadows working for cash, selling your body, and who knows what, is equality, well come to the country legally and working hard is the way to avoid inequality.
Minorities definitely have different lifestyles,but no amount of health insurance on Earth can compensate for what people eat or drink,smoke or whatever.It is upsetting that children who are exposed to a negative lifestyle will most likely continue that lifestyle throughout their lives.I voted for Trump,but I still saw how Michelle was attempting to introduce a better diet and lifestyle to young children.Of course her approach was too radical to succeed,but her intentions were good.In the end,young adults must make their own decisions I suppose.
Drove down Fitzwater 2 days ago and saw 12 minority men playing basketball. Not sure how you do that with proper social distancing. Perhaps it is behavior like this that contributes to the increase in Covid-19 within minority communities. Nah.... its got to be racism.
