“The Town of Ocean City’s emergency management team has been working for weeks to develop plans and procedures to protect the health and safety of employees, residents and visitors,” commented Mayor Meehan. “We support the Governor’s strong action and will continue to do whatever it takes to put the health and safety of our community first.”

While essential services, including grocery stores and banks will remain open, all Marylanders have been encouraged to limit their exposure to others. Social distancing, hand washing and cleaning/disinfecting are greatly encouraged.

How does this take “weeks” to figure out. I’ve watched there idiot emergency director read the new and do almost nothing for years. Then you have have 911 operators making T-shirts with a Martha Stewart ironing board and “app” to sell. LOL if only you knew what went on in emergency service it’s damn near a free paycheck
Looting will begin this weekend.
The reasoning ("excuse") by the looters will be that no paychecks are coming in and they need to feed the family.
The middle-class version of looting has already started, and that is in the form of clearing the store shelves for necessary items, and paying for them.
Lower class looting is no different, except that they don't pay.
As sure as the sun is coming up tomorrow, Baltimore will be in anarchy by Sunday morning.
