Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) spokeswoman Maggie Hannah confirmed the initial death toll of 7 to the Associated Press.
The Associated Press reported that the tornadoes caused about 40 buildings to collapse around the city.

The process of pushing the jet stream far to the south will sometimes cause tornadoes. It is sad and obviously unnatural.
It is the price we all pay for having a cooler than normal climate these days.

Buildings don't collapse in a tornado. They are ripped apart and obliterated. Collapse is what happens in an earthquake.
