Virginia's state senate has passed a bill that would allow law enforcement officers to confiscate guns from or prevent the purchase of firearms by people deemed to be threats to themselves or others, just days after a massive gun rights rally swarmed the state capitol.
The bill passed the chamber in a narrow 21-19 vote and will next move to the state Housem of Delegates.
Jake Rubenstein, a spokesman for Virginia House Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn, told CNN the House would "deliver" on a demand from voters for gun control measures.
"Virginians spoke loud and clear on Election Day demanding common sense gun violence protections, and make no mistake, we will deliver on that mandate," Jake Rubenstein said.

The President just repealed a drinking water regulation that now allows industry and farms to dump pollutants, pesticides and excess fertilizer into waterways without permits being reviewed. Since you live on a watershed out there I figured your readers may want to know about it. Bombshell report from yesterday also found that most of Americas waters were contaminated with chemicals found in flame retardants.
Something tells me they may be headed for more gun violence than they could have ever imagined.Push people hard enough and they'll reach a breaking point.

Okay if politicians have Security personnel with GUNS. Not citizens. The new law can be very dangerous in that situations can be exaggerated to allow authorities to confiscate a person's gun.

You just got owned! 1:22-I am sure you are also aware of the thousands of jobs this Obama created government oversight has subverted, or better worded, destroyed, and how this will also hopefully rectify that, and revitalize hundreds of towns that were, or nearly destroyed by Obama's mandate; that the federal government knows more than your local municipality. 9:50 is stupid, a democrat, a politician, or all three. If most drinking water has flame retardant chemicals, and Trump just reversed Obama's mandate, then what did Obama accomplish? They pretend to be "woke", so it is easy to spot and disprove.
