WATCH: US bombs ISIS island in Iraq

U.S. and coalition forces in Iraq dropped about 80,000 pounds of bombs on an island believed to be filled with Islamic State militants.

Massive explosions lit up the island of Qanus, which some are calling "ISIS Island," early Tuesday morning on the Tigris River. The operation’s goal was to destroy a major transportation hub for ISIS fighters traveling from Syria into Iraq.

U.S. military used Air Force F-15s and the new F-35s to carry out the bombing.

And that, my friends, was just a minute sampling of what we heard the Iraqis getting for a month or to the ground war in Dessert Storm. Day and night, incessantly. It's no wonder that the ground war only lasted for four days. Those guys were completely "without will to fight"!

I think that this should be a lovely parting gift along with a similar one to the peace-loving folks known at the Taliban.

this is good as we can break in the f35 and see how all it's capabilities are working before we need to use it against our real adversaries.

These are the militants who do NOT work for the CIA

I've got an island for these clowns. Alcatraz. Just let them roam the island with navy gunboats surrounding it. Try to escape 50 Cal to the head.
