New York Times remembers 9/11 as the day airplanes became sentient and killed 2,000

It is not even noon yet on the East Coast, and the New York Times has taken first place already for the worst take on the 18th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks:

I count at least two problems in this since-deleted tweet. First, there is no mention of who carried out the 9/11 attacks or what motivated them. That is like writing a headline memorializing the Aug. 3 El Paso, Texas, mass shooting and not once mentioning that there was a white nationalist gunman involved.

Second, and I hate to be the one to say this, airplanes lack agency. They did not take aim or crash themselves. The terrorists flying them did.

My personal opinion. 9/11 has gotten to be a "ponzi scheme" against the US tax payer. I am tired of hearing about 9/11. It was a terrible tragedy. You cannot heal by constantly bring it up. We do not have constant reminders of our Military dying in war. We do not have constant begging for the tax payer to pay for the families lost. Did these people not have insurance, medical, workman's comp, benefits from the job? Why am I a tax payer to support these families? Why is the Muslim Countries not paying their desires, since they have all the oil? With all this tax payer dollars going to support their families for 75 years or more is totally pathetic. Appears to me they are being con-artist getting tax dollars they do not deserve. Senior Citizens are being denied a living wage on SSI that they paid into while these lazy con-artist feel the US tax payer are liable for their welfare and their families welfare, children, grandchildren etc. I say this as a senior citizen barely surviving and expect these same Politians to cut my benefits any time they are in session. Tell me this is right. These con-artist are teaching these "snowflakes" how to get something from the tax payer for nothing. Take responsibility and get on with their lives is what they need to do.

I only agree that survivors such as first responders that cannot work due to illness associated with 9/11 should receive help from the Government. SSI is a social security disability that is given to people who have never worked. SSI is not earned like Social Security retirement. 9/11 children and grandchildren should not receive special treatment. Do you also find WW II and Korean and Vietnam wars a scan. Not to mention the Muslim conflicts. My uncle was in the 2nd WW. He had part of his head blown off. He lived. Had a steel plate in his head and oh by the way he was given a small sum monthly from the Government for his service. What service have you given other than collect SSI?

Freemasonry, The Shriners and Their Islamic Assyrian Origin

The Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, abbreviated A.A.O.N.M.S., commonly known as "the Shriners" is a islamic organization founded in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 644 A.D. by the family of Muhammad. It is an organization of Freemasonry. Freemasonry originates from ancient Assyria. Members of the Shriners are called "Mohammedans". A "Shrine" is a tomb of a muslim that is worshipped by other muslims. Perhaps because he was a martyr for the islamic cause. The Alawi sect of Bashar Assad does not believe in mosques. Therefore they lift up the shrines as being the most holy buildings of islam. A Shriner is therefore a person who honors the holy buildings of Assad's Alawi sect of islam. The organization is best-known for the Shriners Hospitals for Children they administer & the red fezzes that members wear. There are at least 350,000 members from 191 islamic temples (charters) in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Republic of Panama & Europe. To join the Shiners or any other organization of Freemasonry, you must swear alliance to Allah (the islamic moon god) & you must do so on the Koran which says that Christians & Jews must be killed. The Shiners symbols on their cars/trucks include the islamic sword in the shape of a crescent moon with a star which are very clearly islamic symbols. Another symbol on their vehicles is the "Eastern Star" which is the symbol of the satanic goat god called by different names such as "Pan, Yah, Baphomet, Allah, Mendez". You can very clearly see that it's the same symbol of a 2 horned star worn by admitted satanists.
The Shriners & other Freemasons believe in ALL religions as a path to Allah. So although they may at first embrace anyone of any religion, they will always ultimately point that person to Allah & to islam. They place a great deal of importance on secret knowledge which they refuse to share with the little people of the world. They believe that only "the better", more intelligent people have a right to the truth. There are a LOT of Baptist preachers who are Freemasons & Shriners. Many members do not reveal that they are secretly Freemasons. They swear allegiance to help all other Freemasons over and above non-members even if it's not the right thing to do. For example, a judge in a courtroom is required to give the favor in the verdict to the fellow Freemason even if that Freemason has committed a crime. The only exception is in a murder trial, but I believe that many Freemasons would give that special favor even in that case.
Shriners are taught that Lucifer is the true God and is not evil. They are therefore Luciferians, a class of satanist. Their symbols are the same as the Church of Satan. The first 94 Pages of the Freemason bible are quotes from Albert Pike. All Masons are encouraged to read the writings of Albert Pike. He was a Luciferian & said "Lucifer is the True god of Good and Light".

The money is the root of this...terrorist insurance policy signed on at twin towers a month before the attack. Billions in gold reserves underneath vault in tower. This was an elaborate heist of money, political atmosphere, and the American psyche
Hence the term psy-op

My 9/11 Story:

I was ready for a great day of golf that morning. My friend Myles had a MGA golf qualifying round that morning at Inwood Country Club in Brooklyn, NY, and he asked me to caddie for him. It was a beautiful crisp day without a cloud in the sky. We played a few holes into the golf course and we had a par 4 hole coming up that ran along the water. When we got to the tee I noticed one of the towers were on fire. We were only a few miles away from the towers looking over the bay or outlet from the river. Myles hooked a ball into the woods and he started heading to the woods to find his ball. As his caddie I should know where the ball was, so he yelled over, "Wayne do you know where my ball is?" I replied, "I have no idea, I am LOOKING at THAT!" Just as I said that I saw the second plane at a very high speed go around the towers and slam into the second tower. At first it just seemed to disappear into the tower, but in about 20 seconds later the tower was engulfed in flames. (I saw it hit the face of the tower, the explosion took place in the back). It was quite a spectacle. Both towers on fire. The first plane we thought was a mistake. We concurred, after the second plane hit, this was not a mistake. The golf tournament continued; (he was playing horribly) after we played 4 more holes. I heard a loud bang (kinda like a hammer hitting a piece of slate) and the ground shook a little. Immediately after we heard/felt that the tournament was called off, so we started walking over to the car, which was parked near the water. When we got over to the car we dropped the golf bag off and walked over to the shore. The first tower just fell. That was the noise! We both had friends and relatives that worked in the towers or around them. So, we run back to the car to listen to the radio to find out what was going on. The only channel we could get was Howard Stern, all the other channels were static. Stern knew about as much as we did. We tried to call people on our cell phones. Phones were not working. One of my brothers worked down there, Myles had a sister in-law working there. Later we found out they were okay.(I later found out my friend Jeff worked in the South Tower and he would have possibly died, but he showed up late for work because his wife needed help with his new born.) Let's just say it was a very trying night. That night I cried.

For the next two weeks everyone could smell the burning of electrical wiring and whatever else those fires spewed (I lived 40 miles away on Long Island.) We still did not know the death toll.
God bless!

Military Veterans are excluded in the article the way I read it. Military that was wounded in battle deserve everything they get and more. I agree what they said. Sounds like you are comparing apples and oranges. You are critical of someone else's comment, does that mean you don't recognize present day conflicts? You left out the Mid-East conflicts against radical Muslims?

Propaganda can be done in many ways. It is often more effective on what was NOT said or using softer synonyms to describe something.
In this case, the NY Times knew EXACTLY what they were doing. They obviously did not want to offend their liberal, Muslim sympathizing readers.
Shame on them.

Thank you for sharing your story, Wayne. I saw the second plane hit via TV. I can only imagine how much more emotional it must have been for you to see it first hand.

Concerned retiree, I understand what you are saying about paying for two-three generations out. But to say people can't heal because it's constantly brought up is wrong. Talking about tragedies does help heal. It's also more than that, though. It brings us together. The days after 9/11 showed an unprecedented unity.

It's a shame the US can't be as united now as we were then.

Never forget!!
