Sheriff Mike Lewis of Wicomico County Maryland is no stranger to winning attention with bold talk.
Local critics accused him of overkill when he sent a military assault vehicle 145 miles north to Baltimore during riots there in 2015.
His Facebook repost of Hilary Clinton in handcuffs sparked outrage.
Lewis is an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump who recently joined the President in the oval office to support the veto of a resolution opposing a border wall.

Sheriff Mike Lewis is sworn to uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights. PERIOD...ALL Sheriffs are sworn to do the same. IF a sheriff doesn't do this he is WRONG...Sheriff Mike is spot on and the Citizens of Wicomico County should be very grateful for his stand.

Right on down from the sneering voice of the talking head in the opener, this was a Liberal hit piece on gun control and the Second Amendment. Not one second was given to what gun legislation was proposed or on the table, just the sensationalism and manufactured outrage.
Grateful for Sheriff Lewis! He will be Wicomico County Sheriff for as long as he wants the job.....no one even close to his capabilities or desire to protect County citizens. Thanks Sheriff Lewis!

I've been to jail before so I have the typical excuses to not like the police (which I don't use because my choices placed me there and they did their jobs) but thank goodness we have an officer that respects the Constitution and has enough sense to understand that if he disarms us, his grandchildren will not have the means to fight a revolution if one is ever needed. You better believe my ass will be there on election day until he retires or I'm dead to keep him in office and if any of you have common sense you will be too.
