Homeowner Shoots, Kills Intruder Five Years After Shooting Intruder at Same Address

A homeowner in Tulsa, Oklahoma, shot and killed an intruder Tuesday just over five years after he shot another intruder at the same address.

On November 27, 2018, Breitbart News reported that the homeowner, Charles Sweeney, shot and killed an intruder in the bathroom of his home. Fox 23 reports that the deceased intruder’s name was Donald Stovall.

Tulsa World quoted Capt. Karen Tipler, who said, “If they (residents) feel that there is a danger to themselves or someone else who may be in the home from an intruder, then, yes, they are within their legal rights to defend themselves within their home.”

In the Soviet Country of Maryland you have to retreat and escape before you can shoot. Thanks to liberals and RINO's in this puppet government.

I'd hate to go door to door in that neighborhood.

You are correct 11:14. If anyone doubt's this, google MD Castle Doctrine, etc. for your viewing pleasure. You would not know that MD has a republican governor.

Let me be the first to let everyone on this site now I don’t care what you think of the man or anything else but I guarantee you this if someone is truly breaking into your home and you were in fear for your life you won’t have a thing to worry about and Wicomico county as long as you are a legal law abiding gun owner in your home.... That’s exactly why our residents continue to keep the sheriff that we do we’ve got one of the best in the country if not the best and when it comes to his citizens that’s his main priority.

9:01 BS! Just let some white guy kill a 16 year old black kid breaking into his house and watch how fast he condemns the poor SOB!
It is all about politics and being PC.

Even though an intruder being shot inside of a homeowner's home is rare in Maryland, I've never heard of anyone being convicted of a crime for it...ever, in Maryland. I don't know what the law is concerning this, but either it keeps everyone from shooting intruders, or it is never enforced by a jury. Show me!

Screw the law...............if someone is breaking into my house, he's a goner.
