Congressman Harris Announces Grant to Salisbury to Study Wicomico Port

WASHINGTON, DC: On Tuesday, December 4, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded the City of Salisbury a $37,500 grant to help fund an assessment of a multi-user port along the Wicomico River. The EDA is an agency in the United States Department of Commerce, and this investment funds a port feasibility study to assess the physical and economic viability of a multi-user port along the Wicomico River. EDA grants are awarded through a competitive process based upon the application’s merit, the applicant’s eligibility, and the availability of funds.

Congressman Andy Harris made the following statement regarding the EDA grant:

“I support the federal grant awarded to the City of Salisbury that will go toward an assessment of a multi-user port along the Wicomico River. This port will provide jobs along the Wicomico River and enhance commerce as offload services and local industry exporters will be able to use the port for local business in Maryland’s First District.”

The Salisbury/wicomico county area is a fraud. I rode through town yesterday and it's business as a usual for the band of merry thieves. The two major construction projects are being done by the one and only Gilliss Gilkerson. One is the new YMCA pool and a new family fitness center where a once major employer location used to occupy on Mt Hermon. WTF is another fitness center going to do for your economy?? Then I strolled on through the beaglin park area and I guess Blair rinnier is flooding Salisbury with a few hundred more aapartments. Unbelievable what these thieves have done to the area. Trust me when I say this ALL the apartments when they lost their newness appeal and can't be rented for 1500+ a month will become project section 8 housing for all of your Baltimore/DC thugs and illegal immigrants.
