The new measures will be supported by an influx of pro-gun-control lawmakers on their way to Capitol Hill after Tuesday's midterm elections, however any new measure would face an uphill battle in the GOP-controlled Senate.

People drown in pools every year. Should we ban water? How about vehicular homicides? Maybe ban cars too. California is the most gun regulated state in the union and yet gun violence continues. Why? Because gun laws only serve to take rights away from law abiding citizens...thus making them prey for criminals.

The liberals just want to take guns so the people cannot fight back when they fire up the gas chambers. Don't forget Bill Ayres planned to re-educate or kill conservatives when the Weather Underground finally ruled the country. I am thankful he only managed to control the education system (sarcasm).
